This book began in the quiet moments before bedtime—when the lights were low, little heads rested on pillows, and imaginations were wide awake.

From the time my kids were old enough to listen, I read to them every night. We shared countless books, reading each one so many times the pages felt like old friends. Eventually, I started making up stories of my own, just for them. Out of those late-night tales came a curious little bee with a big sense of adventure. His name was Bombo.

Bombo buzzed into our lives with wonder, always asking questions, always exploring, always finding himself in the middle of something unexpected—sometimes funny, sometimes heartwarming, and always full of imagination. My kids couldn't get enough. Every night, they’d ask, “What did Bombo do today?”

Over time, Bombo became more than just a character—he became a part of our family traditions. After more than a hundred made-up adventures, my family gave me a gentle but persistent nudge: “You should write a book about Bombo.”

And so, here it is—the Adventures of Bombo the Bee.
